Hi, with reference to sensor cleaning I have a modeller's air brush with variable air flow, anything from 1 psi to 45 psi. Could I use this to clean my sensor?

Depends on what powers the air out of the brush. If it's a pressurised canister type system then I wouldn't as you can often get liquid propellant blown out at the same time. If it's a powered compressor you might be OK.

I don't really know anything about this sort of air brush!

Is the air filtered on the way in?

I ask because compression of air can cause any moisture to condense out which would then be ejected with the air stream onto the low pass filter (which is what you're actually cleaning)...

The problem with compressed air is twofold: it can condense to moisture as Chris has pointed out , and it can kick up a vortex of dust inside the camera thus exacerbating the situation. Air is best delivered in gentle puffs from a Rocket Blower like the Giotto. My own personal method of cleaning the sensor is: 1) a few puffs with the blower (gentle squeezes). 2) Two or three passes with a SensorKlear pen. 3) A few more puffs with the blower to finish off. Close and check. Repeat the process if necessary.

I'd also be worried about lubricating oil from the compressor being blown out...
