Dont want video

My first post here. probably already been said ,--- I dont want video on my dslr I want full frame at an affordable price. come on canon,

It has been said before many times and I always ask - why don't you want video? Or perhaps more importantly, whats wrong with video?

Sorry, but video is here to stay (I don't want it either FWIW).

As for affordable full frame. Why should they? They are presumably selling enough at the moment and it gives an upgrade path. They are in business to make money. Fact of life, until they see a business reason for doing so, they will remain priced where they are!

...buy a classic 5d which has neither live view or video. It's a cracking camera made for the real still photo photographer and is probably the best buy in the full-frame market at this particular moment in time.

Not to mentioned the far higher cost of producing a 25mm sensor - the silicon wafers used aren't particularly cheap and full frame cameras use a lot more silicon.
