Bravo Paul for your forthright and very down to earth comments.
Isn't it amazing? Start a forum, make a few posts and someone is sure to turn up moaning about what they think should or should not be discussed.

Discuss what you like, if knowing what other people have in their camera bags interests you, chat away ad infinitum.

I'm not moaning I'm just perplexed as to why it should be of interest to anyone. Sorry if I've offended you by expressing an opinion!

what cameras do i use well i will start with my sony Ericsson mobile phone 8.1 mega pixel
then there is my Sony DMC H50, then my panasonic DMC TZ6 cracking little camera
Nikon D50 my first DSLR
and for the past 18 months Nikon D300 with an assortment of lenses from the prime 50mm to the lensbaby composer

then there are all the flash guns and LED torchs for painting with light at night

my one wish is a company would make a camera bag more suited to us women as the back packs and sling shots go right across the bits most men talk to Andrea

On the basis of these negative comments I wonder why they even bother looking at the thread or buy magazines like DC that feature lots of news and reviews on equipment.

What you need is the Lowepro Handbag 200AW.

Please don't get personal Abers. A discussion about kit is perfectly valid - you don't have to join if its not something which interests you.

Who's getting personal? Please indicate!
I've already apologised if I've upset anyone in asking why they need to know what other people use.

I hope there's a post winging its way in answer to the rude reaction of the repondent to my opinion.

I've got a D60, my first DSLR having only ever used P&S camera's on auto and thinking MP's were everything

It was a bit of an impulse purchase and for a while I couldn't get the Sony A350 out of my head, but finally I decided to stick with Nikon and now have the 18-55, 55-200, 50mm 1.8 and Sigma 30mm 1.4, with a Sigma 10-20mm VERY high on the wishlist (I may even have it this time tomorrow!).

An array of filters, Redsnapper tripod, Lowepro Vertex 100 AW backpack and a SB-400 pretty much complete my equipment list.

These lovely lenses and accessories have got me nowhere though as I never have time to actually use them!

I agree, and you would be hard pressed to tell which camera or make took an image. They all do a great job these days, so unless you require a particular feature the choice is open.

I suggest you get to a shop and depending on your budget, Handel the cameras and see how they fit your hands and feel to you. You can then make a more informed decision.
