print size

Can anybody tell me why, when I crop a photo to 8x10 for example and go to print it, the print always has a bigger border to the left and right edges. I can never seem to get a full A4 print. I know it must be someting simple but I just can't seem to fathom it.
I am using elements 6 linked up to an Epson r2880 printer.

cheers for any help.

Paul.

I don't know for certain but the printer usually has a borderless feature which is in the printer settings (rather than being something the Elements does).

When you bring up the print box, click properties and see if you can find it.
