Rugby 1st try

two well capture images no 1 maybe be a tighter crop of the player making the pass

I agree with Peter, I'd like to see a more frame filling image for the top one and it's a shame the ball carrier is facing away from the camera in the second one.

Otherwise, they're nice and sharp (which I always find is the hardest bit) and you've captured the action really well.

That's an improvement, but I'd have given a little more room above his head and wouldn't have cropped into his foot.

Try to avoid cutting the main subject's legs in half if you can, and that leg sticking up in the air looks very odd and would perhaps be cause to bin the image. Learning how to crop effectively is an important skill as doing it wrong can ruin an otherwise good shot, whilst doing it right can add a lot of impact.Do you have the original to compare it with?
