Here's mine:

Citric Triptych:

And here's how it was done:
(please excuse total mess in garage)

The flashes were triggered by PT-04s and the camera taking my picture was triggered on its self timer by an RF-602 set.

Fruit was sliced using a Sabatier chef's knife

Each slice was photographed individually and then the images combined. A few levels and sharpening tweaks and there you have it.

I did try to get a close up of my daughter's eye, but she's a bit of a fidget and was in a hurry as always; consequently she had hair across her eyes in the few shots I did get. That's what the delete button is for. . . .

Just seen yours Guy. Looks like you have made a reasonable start to the weekend - enough to fill the frame.

OK, this week I thought I'd try to submit my image from a PR gallery rather than a Flickr one. I can find out how to get the image location for the full size one, but the faq does not mention how to get the medium sized one to link it from - I just tried the way it suggests and it throws the whole thread to wider than my screen! I know this has been explained MANY times already, so apologies, but I can't find it!!! Help!!

Wow at last , its a bit difficult trying to capture a bubble with my home in hence the late entry.

Basic crop and noise reduction filter no other enhancements ( what you see is what I got )

What a great range of ideas , again it's going to be hard to choose. Whats the fascination with pigs in this comp ? great shot forseti it made me smile . good luck everyone and well done carol for your theme.

Thought I'd make an appearance this weekend. At long last the results of my reading 'Dummies Guide to Eugenics' some years ago can be put to good use.

Thought it would. For anyone who considers this a must have item then I've dug up this English speaking site giving full specs etc. http://www.datakits.co.uk/store/ipig...al-p-6020.html . It's suitable for iPod classic, iPod nano, iPod 5 gen, iPod 4 gen and iPod mini. It's also a lot cheaper than that new iPad (or whatever it's called) gadget.

Answered my own question - the forum automatically resizes the image in the post, but it doesn't show this in the preview!

Lots of great images so far.

Simple shot really .I had a toy bubble making gun that makes life easier.Hardest part was getting the flash right for a decent dark background .Went for manual with minmal power.I had thought of macro bubbles but these were shot with a 10-22 sigma as close as I could get for a variety of bubbles.Final tweak of levels in photoshop a crop and done.

In the end I found it best to bounce flash off a wall behind me .20 mins start to end.(p.s date was set wrongly on the camera but I obviously could not have taken it tommorrow.(sorry Cutter but I honestly had not seen your shot prior to deciding )

Lot of great entries this week and found myself struggling.
I ended up eating my subject before checking the picture
so the one I entered will have to do

Jim.

No problem Matt, had two to choose from, I decided on the bubble cos no one had used it (doh) great shot though.
This was the other I was going to use. does anyone think I made the wrong choice?
