Shutter Speed: 1/400
Aperture: F/8
ISO: 100

My entry was shot last Friday afternoon while walking in a park. Doing some photowalk. Then I saw this. It looked like some sort of drainage cover. Then I noticed something about the cover. Hope you see it too.

I had to blur out some part of the photo as I feel might become a problem if I don't.

Photo must be taken on A Saturday or Sunday (Well so I believe)

Not sure why you blurred it out, what did it say?

As per the new rule, it's from Fri to Sun after the competition topic has been set. The date of 29-31 of Jan 2010 was also mentioned on the topic.

It was blurred due to the name of the brand can be clearly seen. Am just trying to avoid any negative issues (if ever) that may arise.

My apologies I did not know the rules had changed!!!
I wouldn't worry about brand names as many a picture has shown these in the past!!

No probs, Jerry.

Thanks about the brand names. I'll keep that in mind.

Time - wheer does it go. I took some moon shots Friday night trying to get Mars in them. Total failure - moon too bright, Mars too small. Had decided I had whole weekend to do something else and then others made plans for me! If I didn`t revise what I had it was no entry form me so to try to look a little different from reggy`s great submission I:
Opened the shot in photoshop, a little colour adjustment to bring in the blue, bit of dodging and multiplicity layer to darken it up. Then I thought mm that Flaming Pear free sample download could work here. Tried innumerable variations and came up with blue moon over the water. Nice sample download that - valid for 30 days but only counts each day you use it. Therefore some 10 months after I got it I still have 26 days left. Shows how little I use it and not worth the purchase but also how little I understand it as it has so many variable sliders/ glue or layer styles and isn`t just a simple button click. Final move was to do a round crop but not sure that works too well and may go back to the standard crop yet.

ronbpix - I would put your entry without the name smudged out as it does impact on theoverall image and I`m sure no drain manufacturer will press a case against an entry on here. It`s marketing for them and not showing it in a bad light after all.

@ ronbix - I agree with Paul.

I had wanted to photograph a globe, but it looked awful, no matter what light I used.

So I came up with this instead :

Shot with Tamron 90mm Macro, f/8, ISO200, 1/40 sec. Cropped in Nikon Capture, slight adjustment in D-lighting.

I'm afraid I'm no expert in the intricacies of photoshop, other than a bit of light adjustment
