Manners? I think not!

The thread 'History of Photography' seemd to have disappeared from the Forum, no explanation or reason given.

I'm puzzled on two counts, 1. Why was it removed and 2. why was no explanation given or forwarded to those that had posted on it?

If some moderator was upset by it fair enough, but at least have the good manners to say why.

It would seem that banter and ribbing is a heinous crime, lighten up. Perhaps there was an irritating grain of truth in what was said.

Hi Abers,

The thread isn't removed, it's still at: http://www.photoradar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1305

While we try to keep a light touch with our moderation of the forum, we removed those two posts because it seemed like it would just end up with a flame war, something which we are keen to avoid.

Thanks,

Amy

Never mind Amy - "Manners Cost Nothing" - and you have shown - as always - that you, at least, have them in abundance.
