Lightbulb A Smilie for Your Thoughts?

Hi All,

New to the forums and uploaded some of my favourite shots from the last year or so but wondered if I could get some feedback on one in particular which I took whilst travelling through Scotland.

Nicely composed. Have you thought of conversion to B+W? Try bringing the sky down a bit to add spme drama and a warm tone may add an earthy punch. Hope this helps.

Hi S33r, welcom to the forums

It's a nice shot this. Well balanced and nicely composed with a gorgeous view. I love the clouds low down in the valley. I think it could do with a little more contrast which you could achieve with some burning on the sky or a subtle curves adjustment.

I think it works really well in colour but since it's been suggested already, B&W might work well too. If it was me I'd do a really punchy B&W conversion on this shot to make it look heavy and very dark.

Overall I really like this shot - and it's nice to see this sort of shot not taken on a bright sunny day! Perhaps my favourite bit though is the house which adds a sense of scale and perspective which makes the shot 10 times better.

really like the atmosphere .Have driven through Glencoe in similar conditons and it takes me back.

I agree the house is perfect for it's sense of scale .If converted to B& W I would do some selective dodging and burning to make it stand out and bring out the whitewashed walls.
