I think you may have set up an 'oll' by mistake, but never mind, I'll just nip over there and ote for my favourite.

Corrected the "poll" word for you - although I do like the word oll

Good luck again everyone this week. Look forward to seeing the results.

Amy

Indeed not so close Andy - Cutter pulled well clear in the end for a great win Well done Cutter - got my vote to start it all rolling for a very gppd representation of the proverb and some nice tones and effects. Again some nice entries and my vote almost went the way of Sarasocke, HinFrance and reggy for some great entries. I`ll be glad not to have to do the poll this week but if you need Ian`s (wattig`s) PDF on how to do it Cutter give me a PM with an email address and I`ll send you it as it does work.

Reviews:
Andy`s L,S and B - nice shot with great dof that had people guessing on the chat thread for a while. Looks an interesting piece of equipment but missed the target for me cos whilst clever in showing elements of the saying it was maybe shot too close in and lacks a detail interest (other than for gun enthusiasts maybe) to hold you there. Much more polished piece of work than my entry this week though so well done.
Michaelb105 -ECHASL - thought this might get a vote or two for the great colour and light rays. That said the foreground bush to left is a little distracting and the midground detail is neither fully visible nor full silhouette and lacks enough definition to work in silhouette so probably went against it.Looks every so slightly on a slope to me too in terms of the waterline but may be wrong. Nice definition of the title though with those clouds.

Well done all - some other great shots and that image of Miss Piggy in pearls has got to make you wonder where oggalily gets his props!

Thanks Flake

Wow, I have actually won something!. Thanks to everyone who voted for me I never suspected for one second I had a chance on my first attempt. The church steeple is right outside my office window and often wondered if it had ever been hit by lightning so i was lucky with the theme. So with a bit of cs4 and difference clouds I made it happen. Sunday morning, the sun was low and the cross was lit up so it made life easier, just needed to add a bit of drama (being a hairdresser that was easy).
The contest was very hard and so many good photos to choose from. Daylegh nearly got my vote, it was well thought out and well photographed, also Hinfrance again was well photographed and the picture said it all.
But my vote went to sarasock a lovely clean picture great sharp focus, and how long did she have to aggravate it to get it to bite her? ( may have to call the RSPCA)
Well done to everyone and thanks again for your votes, I will try to think of a different theme this weekend just to keep you on your toes. Will have to speak to my mentor!!!!
