Del, skating on thin ice?

I'm off to the market now to try to get my props. I might yet have to get another idea together in a rush . .

And for flake, I often do composite entries, viz this one fo rthe PR glass weekend:

which took about 10 minutes to set up, 15 to photograph and about the same again to edit. Because I was a bit pressed for time.

angii - a stitch in time ?

otherwise, I have absolutely no idea about any of the othes

Anyone need clues for mine ? I think it's obvious, but then I would ....

If I understood correctly, the titles will only be put with the photos when Paul does the poll - right ? If they're not guessed by then, then he'll need a pm.

To the question of composites - I've not heard any complaints in the year I've been joining in these comps. Even some of Mark's most excellent works of art were put together over the weekend - I assume he wasn't cheating Where is he by the way ?

i have always liked this photo in its variatons online,i know how to light the glass from light and science book but i have never figured out how to get the element to light up - is this photoshop coloured or have you actually ran a current through it to get it to light up?

and some of you are guessing my title and have been very close but dont over think it because your getting it mixed up :O

@ Hinfrance - correct. Skating on thin ice is the pic here in the chat thread.
@Beauxreflets - correct. Spanner in the works is the pic in the entry thread. I think the pen is in Dayleigh's entry not Reggy's.
@Sarahsocke - I agreed with an earlier guess of not biting the hand that feeds you, but if it's not that, is it the cat's whiskers?
@Reggy - stumped here. I think we've been through all the oil and water permutations.

Del, I think I missed the guess somewhere, must look back through the thread . Yes it's "Don't bite the hand that feeds you"

Edit - sorry Andy - I missed your post. Yes quite right

Reggy, the bulb shot is composite of two shots, one of the bulb glowing (I used a dimmer switch to avoid the element burning out the photograph) and another one of me holding it. I tried not the change the position of the camera and as far as possible the bulb so that they would be easier to put together in the editing process. I think I used Elements for this one.

I posted pictures of how it was done on my flickr stream - HERE

Now, for this week's effort:

A clickable version is just about to be posted in the entries link.
