Some feedback please....

Hi all,

Taken advantage of the cold snap and took this shot of a local lake that very rearly gets completely frozen over.

All input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Anthony...

Anthony, there is a mark on the picture? Apart from that it looks great, although i would try and do sonething with the sky. I don't like the black in the corners. See what photoshop can do or maybe crop/stretch?

Hi Gman,

Thanks for your input, I used a 1.2 ND grad to hold back the sun as it was extremely strong and I was shooting straight into it.
Not sure what you mean by marks on the picture though? Can you tell me where and what these marks are please???

Thanks,

Ant...

There's a blue splodge in the bottom-right corner which looks a little like an ink blot, you can see the snow beneath it so it doesn't look like it belongs.

Ahh, I see. The only thing at the bottom right of the picture is a large stone that is frozen into the ice at the edge of the lake. The sun is casting a shadow off the stone and this is colouring the snow behind it.

This is the only thing I can see in the bottom right of the picture...

Thanks,

Anthony..

Great shot Anthony and I love the lens flare. I can see it is a stone with larger shadow cast by angle of the sun but the way the snow lies on it makes it look a mistake and transparent almost like an ink stain . One of those optical illusion type things from real life.
