Well done Jinky! Another spectacular win.
Above - Jinky's icicles: What can I say? I think the votes (mine included) say it all.
Below - Kels: I like the diagonal and the interplay between the snow/ice and the black. I wonder whether a crop to emphasise the icy bit might have given it more ooompf.

Sorry Bruce, your picture didn't call to me this weekend. I think it would have been somewhat enlivened if there were more lights on, particularly in the large building to the left. As it is the central pier of the bridge is the main focal point, and I wonder if turning the camera slightly to the right and zooming/cropping in a little closer might have given it a bit more dynamism.
Thanks for the comments. I agree!! Even though I live right on the coast and am surrounded by water, that weekend had really flat dull hazy light and very little jumped up and said, "Photograph me!". This shot ended up more a trial with my new tripod and remote shutter release which came courtesy of Father Christmas.

Cheers Bruce - I'm glad the beardy one brought you some things to play with. I use my tripod and remote release loads. I used the tripod for the shot I entered, although I admit I was too rushed and lazy to get the remote our of the box and used the 2 second timer instead.

No what to do this coming weekend?
