With the thread visitor counter indicating 240 views of the competition poll, 20 votes cast is sadly a low response

It is a good photograph (though if you had swung the camera through 90', I think the composition would have got my vote as well )

A 10% ratio of votes to views is perfectly normal for this competition.

Well done Del and Paul, both great images. My week was total disaster organisation wise, so never managed to get anything other than family snaps and very little time to myself, playing host takes all of your time. I voted for Ron's Giddiyap Horsey! , Christmas time for me is all about the children, Ron's image looked very spontaneous and so full off happiness colour and charm and was well taken, nice work Ron.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year, Bob

Been too busy this week to contribute much or to put much effort into my shot. In the end I took an opportunistic shot of story time. There was very little ambient light so I had to use all the tricks for low light shooting - slow shutter speed (1/60), wide open aperture (f1.8) and high ISO (1600).

Some good stuff this week so judos to those who managed to find the time.

So did anyone get any fancy new kit from Santa?
