just seen the NEW vr in action
I was at a horse show that i was coveringevet for a mag a work for and these to other men sat down one had the new 70-200mm vr II and another had the Nikon D3s.
the new Nikon 70-200mm im my view looks and feels crap, its about 2 or 3 inches shorter and the hood is the most stupidest think i have ever seen lol. how ever i was talking to the bloke who owned it and he said that is great in his words " does what is saying in the book" and the auto foucs
is like the speed of light so quik and dead on pin sharp images. so its good on the results side but rubbidh to my eye on the looks is a very uglry lens
the other bloke with the D3s said it is outstanding hes loves it and is going to get another one but he was using the older version of the nikon 70-200mm which i own and i have to say i dont find anthing wrong with it ,but anyway this chap said that his Nikon D3s was amazing and it is just great in any situation and he was using at 4000 iso at 400 the day before i was there and he showed me thses images and these were just fab so who ever is thinking og gettin the D3s for under light work your be doing the best chose you have ever made.
