D90 or D 300?

Can any one help me on deciding which gear to replace my D 40 X? A new D90 kit or a one and a half year old D 300 ?

If it's a choice between new and used I'd go new. Second hand lenses are worth the effort as (if they've been well looked after) they retain value but the technology in the cameras moves on quickly.

Unless you need the faster continuous shooting speed or weather sealing of the D300 I'd buy the D90

I would go for the D300 if it hasn't been used that often as it's a more robust camera and semi-pro build. Needs to be under 20,000 shots otherwise go for the D90.

I would really go for the D300 just like Old Boy said its a semi-pro build and it can stand all thoses knocks

frankly I would go for new rather than second hand, as with electrail good you have no come back on second hand
