Dissappointing POTY feature...

After all of the lead up, process and expectation of the Photographer of the Year awards, and after having travelled down to London to see my commended image in the exhibition, I was rather hoping there would be a more dedicated in-depth feature in the magazine of the qualifying images. A vast majority of the categories have only a bare selection of the commended shots shown, and the Digital Vision none at all.

Are these not worthy of publishing too? I realise everyone involved with the exhibition was incredibly lucky, but it almost feels like an afterthought reading through the magazine, with even the winning images not really getting a great deal of background.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the POTY coverage. As always, space was limited, and we wanted to ensure the balance of features, reviews, tutorials, reader pictures etc elsewhere in the magazine stayed the same. That said, there is plenty of coverage on PhotoRadar, and we'll have a YPOTY feature and show round-up in issue 95.

As far as the Digital Vision category goes, these images were printed on page 71.
