Very Slow loading site

Can anyone tell me why its taking over a minute to load any pages on this site, its driving me mad. I don't have problems with any other websites only this one.
I am using Firefox and I have also tried IE without any luck. Most times I just give up and don't bother trying any longer.

I don't know why you're having this problem. Try turning the ad blockers on or off in Firefox. You could always have a look at some of the dev tools that you can get for Firefox and see exactly what it is that is causing the slow loading.

I am on dsl so there shouldn't be a problem, I have been trying to answer this thread for the last few hours a kept giving up. I don't have adblocker loaded.

This is driving me potty, I seem to remember having the same problem in the past when the site was in DCM, thats why I never came often.
I loaded some photos earlier now I can't get to see them to do any edits, I waited 5min and it still didn't finish loading, it gets just short of 100% load then it stops.

I will add my name to how slow some pages load on this site.
I notice that skimlinks.com appears for about 20 seconds followed by spe.atdmt.com and after another 20 seconds I eventually get the page.
Is this due to some advertising links on your website ?
Yes I am on broadband.

Try using a browser that removes the ads. You could also try adding firewall exceptions for the domain as, back in beta stages, there were some funny scripts running behind the scenes that could well slow the site down.

I dont think its slow. It takes about 2 second to load the whole page. Remember back in the days with 56K, I think im at heaven already lol Do you think 2 sec is slow or it is really slower than 2 sec?

Chris-p,
I am using the latest version of firefox with an ad blocker and Comodo firewall with a fairly fast computer.
Most of the pages load in a few seconds, it's just the odd ones that can take over a minute.
What I find odd is that the only other time this can happen is if I am access mm bank details (no it's not because I got loads of money in my account)
It does seem odd that others have had similar problems ?
