Head Shot Advice

I've been asked to do a head shot of a film director. I am shooting with a Canon 5D Mk2 with an 85mm f1.2. I was considering using continues lighting from the sides and in front overhead. while I'm at it I might use a ring flash (Sunpak DX12R). I have limited space so I'm hoping some configuration will work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
