A Critique Required For A Newbie

Hi, I'm a Newbie here and read about the Forum in the Magazine.

I spend a lot of time between Ireland and Tenerife and I'd be grateful for your opinions on the photos I've uploaded. I'm on an Assignment for fun with some friends to find a photo which would describe November and as the sun is out here today, I'm off out to a local park to find some inspiration. By the way, I'm a complete novice to photography but I'm very eager and keen to learn more.
