CHAT thread for the weekend competition - 14-15 Nov - BLACK AND WHITE
NOTE: This is for 14-15 NOVEMBER! Sorry for any confusion

CHAT THREAD

Hi all. The theme for this weekend's competition will be BLACK AND WHITE. Feel free to apply either the obvious definition (ie. monochrome) or your own interpretation of the theme. Feel free to use any amount of post-processing (including composites) but all elements of the photo must be taken this weekend.

If you are uncomfortable with post-processing you can choose a primarily black and white composition (like a chessboard).

Please place your entries in the ENTRIES THREAD.

I guess "primarily" means that if a bit of colour creeps in, it's OK? Like eyes or something ... I seem to have a house full of black and white animals but their eyes and noses are coloured

I've just reminded myself, as I muck about with a pre contest mono conversion, why it is always essential to do mono in 16 bit . . .
