A few weeks time will take us to (say) Mid-April. The temperature on the Greek islands is not going to be that fierce to worry about unduly.
Even if you are going at the height of Summer, it's unlikely to be a major issue. Obviously, take the basic precautions; i.e. don't leave your camera in full sunlight for too long, put it under a towel or somewhere in the shade. If it's round your neck, and you can handle the heat, then so will the camera.
I would suggest your biggest concerns will be sea-spray, sand etc. and that's what you need to guard against more than anything else.

I'll echo what Chris said , the sand and sea spray can be a real problem so take care and don't forget your cleaning stuff .

Have a good one
