This month's mission is about blurring motion to create an image that captures every day subjects in an original and dynamic way. Whether you use it to convey a sense of movement and drama in an action shot or to add impact to a static subject, we're looking for something that really makes the most of creative potential provided by slow shutter speeds.
What we mean by slow depends on what you're shooting - for a racing car speeding down a straight, a slow shutter speed might be 1/125 sec, while for a zoom-blur abstract it might be a second or more. All that we ask is that least part of the image has been blurred in camera; whether that's the subject, the background, or a combination of the two is up to you.
