setting the color space.

Hi All,
I put my Canon 40D in for a sensor clean and they have changed all my settings in the camera somehow. I have forgotten if my color space selected was sRGB or Adobe RGB.
The book says sRGB is recommended.
However my high street printer [Commercial/Industrial printers ] use on their ICC profiles only Adobe RGB.
So should i set the camera up with sRGB and change it in post processing before sending it off to the printers?
OR
Should i just use Adobe RGB in camera??
I have a sneaking feeling it should be the latter however would like confirmation from any gurus out there.
Any tips most welcome.

If you look at one of your old images (prior to your sensor clean) with Digital Photo Professional (the Canon software that came with your camera), select an image and hit ctrl-i (or right click the image and select info) you should see what colour space you were using.

Silly me....how simple was it to look in Properties.... i must be getting oldtimers disease!!
It was set at sRGB.

Canon also puts a _ in front of the file name of the image if AdobeRGB.

if your shooting in RAW it makes no difference what colour space you use in camera the colour space information is not held within the RAW image and is determined by whatever raw processing software you choose to use ( DPP for example )

you will find settings within the options of DPP to choose what colour space you want to use for the processed image

iv'e been using canon DSLR's for years and never new this
you certainly do learn something new every day
