1. I see what everyone is saying about too much foreground/not enough clouds. It is something I will try to remember to take into account in the future.
2. I agree about the first spire. It bothered me even at the time, but I was taking the picture thru a tiny window that I had to stand on my tip toes to even see out of. I had a hard time getting my camera to hold a decent angle that wasn't tilted up too much, although I guess I should have tilted it up a little farther I took a few and this was the best. I see what everyone is saying about the underexposure and I don't disagree, but I do like how it makes the gold spires pop
3. Chris - The picture is of a stairway covered in snow, with a red door at the top (barely visible, maybe only because I know it is there) and snow coming down.
Chris 14B - I did have a picture more straight on but you couldn't see the red door as it is a little recessed (not that you can see it very clearly anyway, but I like knowing it's there)
