Congratulations on the win Dave, I really liked the humour in your shot, and I still wonder how you set it up. It's also good to see that you might have your mojo back.

UP: Jediboy - "you looking at me?!"
A good photograph and composition. I really like the tones in the shot. Perhaps it could do with a little light on the right hand side, as there's a tiny shadow under your chin, but I'm really splitting hairs here.

Down: elvisKennyg - "me"
Composition wise, it's good that you are looking into the space of the photograph, but I think there is too much of it and so consequently you seem to be squashed into the corner. An interesting bit of processing, although I think it's a shame that we've lost a lot of the detail of the shot.

I'd also like to congratulate Sabrina on her photograph, lovely colours and focus, but Dave's shot really made me smile, so just nixed it.

Thanks to all that voted for my effort, it is really appreciated.

Nick

Thanks for all the nice words about my poto, feels great.

Dave's picture made me smile too, and it is nicely done. Done before by others or not, I don't care. It's still unique, only his picture has his face on it

Apologies for n feedback last week - totally forgot!

Congrats on your somewhat humourous and appealing image. A deserved win. Thanks to elviskennyg and gbryce for my votes. Nice to see some new interest on here. Votes are much appreciated.

Up - Sabrina's "Mezelf" - An original shot and my second choice. The focusing on the eyes and the overall sharpness was excellent. Just pipped for my vote by Dave.

Down - Alex's "Me, Myself & Eye" - A worthy contender for my vote and something i was going to try myself. The only reason i didn't choose it or do it myself was because it had just featured in DC Mag and therefore (for me, sorry) lacked a little originality. However, very well executed, well done.

sorry this is so late...i never seem to be able to get on the computer in the week...

thanks for my votes and critique guys

UP: DD retro style. i liked this, and it did bring back some memories of getting photos like that i did wonder if all 4 photos were a little 'straight on' to the camera - i remember pulling all sorts of poses (lol) so a little more variation might have improved this a bit. a great idea though!

DOWN: Dave in the fridge. this was an interesting angle - one i'd not seen before (despite the debate earlier on this thread ). no criticism really - you clearly love your yoghurt

my vote went to sabrina - loved the effort and the clarity of this shot. i agree with dave too - could see this on a promo poster for a war game, definitely.
