It's not you, who caused the mirror to crack from side to side, is it?
But even a cracked mirror can give a self portrait.

A few years ago, I had skin cancer. The subsequent operation to remove it and re-graft skin, took off the end of my nose, so I'm a bit shy about getting in front of the camera, but I'm in with this:

Oh, and I know, I need a haircut

I just posted my effort on the entry thread.

Never entered a competition before so not expecting anything more than a few gentle pointers as to where I went wrong.

It is a good way to learn. People will also say what you did right

Me! Retro Photo Booth Style

I'm in with this.....

Did it to re-create those years in the 70's when we had fun in a photo booth. Took the 4 images, merged them as a composite onto a white layer, cropped to size then added a bit of a retro photo effect. This one was totally for fun. Hope it brings back memories for you (well us oldies at least).

Let me explain my photo;

My husband, son of a military and military himself, always say's I'm a warrior fighting for my family and my ideals.
With some makeup and my shutter release as weapon I made the picture.
Poster edges filter made it look like this.
