Fashion Photography and Fine Arts

I knew you would find help James - eventually - just a few egos needed prodding - that's all - it usually works - well done Mr Brain - and others - a much better and indeed very helpful response by the sounds of things.

Education is the key to success James - stick with it and the best of luck with your studies - and of course - your photography - regards Gil.

All art is subjective. There is no such thing as art in the sense that any kind of imagery with an art label on it actually has to rest on a specific data point being reached where it actually becomes 'art universal'. Art is generally that which is perceived to be so by the viewer. That is why there is a never ending debate on this subject, and why people like Tracey Emin can produce work as mundane as an unmade bed and get it into galleries all over the world. She's not alone in doing this either.

Some fashion photography may be seen as 'fine art' by aficionados of the genre, but that's where all art begins and ends - with the loyal patrons of a particular genre.
