OK, I'm in with,,,,

Spife & Spork

Had a piece of glass with a cutlery item taped under the glass and the glass covered with greaseproof paper, glass resting on the gap between 2 chairs. Placing a light under the glass shining up, the cutlery cast a shadow and the greaseproof diffused the light. A different cutlery item was placed on top of the greaseproof and over the shadow for this unusual effect.

I took several images of both combinations, moving the point of focus each time to get the whole areas sharp, as I was using my Canon 100MM Macro lens. Using photo merge I 'stacked' each image to achieve the 2 seperate photos. Converted each to B&W, used spot healing to remove blemishes and dodge and burn to improve tone and contrast. Made a 3rd white layer and the move tool to place each image side by side in the positions I wanted for my composite. Horizontally flipped the spork to improve the overall balance. Tried them as a diptych and also with a border but preferred the plain one.

Hope you like it.

Oh my word, Sabrina - you have been amazingly artistic and clearly very busy - Hard to choose isn't it? 1 or 4 for me. They are so minimalist and contemporary.
