Worked on my picture. This is the result.

I'm not used to use that cloud filter. So I'm not sure I did good...

I like that Sabrina, much more interest in the sky now.

I think this is going to be my entry.

Blocks and tackle

Ok, I've put my entry in the other thread (am I supposed to put it here too?)
I even got it right from flickr this time, wonders will never cease.

I use a program called Nik Pro Silver for B&W conversions in Photoshop - It's become my very best friend and such fun...

Lovely photo Spikeyjen, but according to the Exif data, you took the photo in Oct 2011. For this monthly technique competition, all photos should be taken after the theme has been set, in this instance it was the 7th Feb 2013.

This is another photo that I took at the weekend. I've tried to give it a bit of a Francis Frith treatment, but I think all the buildings and cranes in the background destroy what I was tying to achieve, what do others think?

Tower Bridge

For me the sky is a bit bland, also maybe it is just my eyes but it doesn't quite look level. Nice shot though but probably would look better in colour I do love your block and tackle shot it really suits the theme.

As for me I have done little with my camera lately due to other things going on, I do have a shot I am trying to get for this theme but I am waiting for the right conditions, fingers crossed it will happen in the next couple of days otherwise I will have to stick with the first image I posted

Thanks for that Nick, I guess I should read the small print. I'm sure I can come up with something else.
(First timer here, be nice!!)
