It's the same for me! Another bug that hasn't been sorted before the site went live.

Strange it works for me now ... and usually people don`t want the "remember me option" with me :-)
Maybe there should be a "Forget all about him/her option" for some of us :-)

Thanks for letting us know that there are still problems with this feature. It was added at the request of our users and has been intermittent since.

The good news is that we're already testing changes to the login process which will make pages load faster for our users. There's no promises this will fix the remember me option straight away, but we will be getting feedback on the improvements and will take another look if it's still not reliable.

In case anybody is interested! It should remember users for around two weeks. If you want the site to 'forget you' then click logout and this disables the 'remember me' until you login and tick the box again.

When using the remember me feature, you will still be asked to confirm your identity before changing personal details or updating photos. In these scenarios you will be asked to provide your password to continue.

Nice, but what still doesn't appear to be working (for me at least) are these envelopes indicating new posts. Checking today, the envelopes are all grey indicating no new posts in that thread(s) although there have been many additions made to threads since last logging in. Additionally, it doesn't appear to make much of a difference as to whether I am logged in or just reading threads without being logged in - the orange/grey envelopes appear to function in a most erratic way - one day working, the next day not.
