The clue in my post is, "I think ..." You don't agree, but that's your prerogative. I've only been doing this for just over half a century, so what do I know. I took my lead from Ansul Adams, Minor White et al.

I agree Pan and Tilt for Landscapes is the way to go

I dont take landscapes any more so find my Benbo and Manfrotto 222 head ideal for the natural history I like and the portraits I do for a living
