Geoff it's funny how things go , I started a job at a customers house today and in the back garden is an aviary full of beautifully coloured finch like birds that I have never seen before , if I get a chance I'll ask what they are and where he got them .

Hi Mark you need to get in like James bond with a hidden camera to check if they have rings on
If they would be a little suspect although some poachers are well set up and can get rings on to birds that are wild caught but this does not prove anything as rings can be checked..

LoL. No worries m8 don't go loosing your job over as if they are british birds caught the owner would be a little quiet in telling you anything about them.
