I lived in Wellingborough for four years, from 1974-78, but didn't buy my first SLR until '78. I took a few shots around the town but knew zilch about taking photos at the time. I'd love to be there now to take photos! I now live in rural Delaware in the US; it's super-boring, and it's a long drive to go anywhere to take photos.
In another thread, I saw Wollaston and Great Doddington mentioned. I used to drive a taxi, part-time, around those parts and places like Wilby, Rushden, Irthlingborough, etc. Rushden has some gorgeous old stone houses that I'd love to photograph. Ah well, I'm moving to Florida in a few weeks and hope there's something to photograph there.
