Another newbie...

Hello all.

I've been into photography for a year or so, and I'm slowly picking it up. I'm hoping to learn more about post-processing, i.e. photoshopping, so any pointers for books, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Gear wise I use a Lumix G1 with 14-45mm kit lens and 45-200mm zoom. I've been using the bundled Silkypix software which is quite decent, but have recently started using the new version of Lightroom as they support the Lumix raw format now.

Anyway, that's about it. I hope to see you on the other areas on the forum.

Hi sammo303, for Photoshop have you seen the on line tutorials available on this site, they should help a lot, and if you buy the mag there is a DVD each month.

Welcome to the site, Bob.

Oh yes and I agree with BSmith, the tutorials are very helpful,
I am a total newbie with PS-CS3 and the tutorials I have watched have been very informative, they are done very well especially for the beginner, I have no problem in following them.

Enjoy the site and Happy Clicking
Dee
