Even the pond is hidden in the snow here - will have to clear a bit for the fish !!

Will take a walk by the river if I get a chance too, but need to cut wood for the fire.

The pond is out here too. Iced over and covered in snow. We had -15° this morning when I went out with the dogs.

I think I shall be turning to something I can put together in the sitting room

Ooh - lucky girl - I try to work in lower ISO to reduce editing - and dream of expanding my equipment

Ho hum, must go off to seek a good image.

yeah yeah ...

Since entering these comps I've done quite a lot in the sitting room. Get out the black/white/whatever background, tripod and remote, switch on the standard lamp and off we go. Need a new remote tho ... the old one for the D80 won't work. Will just have to make sure I have a steady finger

Yeah that`s a downside I forgot to mention re: D700. Lot more money for remote for them - might have to use the shutter delay until you get around to one unless Santa is being ven better to you!

Not a chamce of me entering this week, the sky is more grey than a grey card the water is frozen an inch thick and it's trying to snow! According to the BBC weather guide, the nearest temperature station was recording -3 at 11.00, so seeing as I've got reynauds there's not much chance of me wanting to spend much time outdoors.

And now having had a glass or two of glogg to warm me up I'm probably not able (or safe0 to use the camera anyway!

I managed to get out and back to meanwood beck when it was gloriously sunny earlier. Just as well - went grey and colder again not long after, That might have to be it unless something better comes up tomorrow.

While I had to take the car out - and clear the mirrors first, I managed a few shots of cold fingers.
