Very Slow loading site

It is a bit odd. It's not exactly blisteringly fast for me - at work I'm using IE8 and a thread page like this probably takes about 10-15 seconds to open.

It's faster at home where I use Opera which is a much faster browser than IE anyway.

It seems to be running a little faster today but not by much the browser stalls when it tries to load spe.atdmt.com. there doesn't seem to be any way I can block it.

The more I look into this the more I realise that actually the page is loading in the background pretty much all the time.

Try restricting the following address

127.0.0.1 spe.atdmt.com

Yes I find it slow at times and as for the videos .....black screen

I have something similar in Firefox & Flock only it says Connecting to view .atdmt.com... in both of them. IE8 is just as slow but not reporting anything. There is one other site that I use that is the same PC Advisor otherwise all other sites are ok.

If this keeps up I will reluctantly have to give these sites a miss.

127.0.0.1 is the local loopback address (ie. your computer), and that looks like a Hosts file reference - adding addresses to the Hosts file with the IP of 127.0.0.1 prevents your computer from accessing the real location for that address. It's a common used feature by some ad and spyware blocking programs such as Spybot SD as it prevents the ads from loading.
