CHAT - Weekend competition 13/3 - 17/3 "Friendship"

OK, This was taken today on the beach. I wanted to capture a nice moment between man and dog, however this one was an unexpected find. Sorry about the bum sniffing........

Yes it's a hard one this week. Worried it will not bring many entries. I'm still working on another image on top of my fun one. But other more pressing matters on hand this weekend. Just found we have RATS!!!!! Must have come in from where they have been working on an old building beside our house. We are on disinfecting the kitchen and laying bait/traps (sorry if that offends anyone, but don't know what else to do).

We have been dealing with a RAT problem the past few months, we have a brook behind us that flooded in the heavy rain so all the Rats have mooved inland and a few under our decking. We have fingers crossed got the situation under control but saw one a few weeks a back which was the length of our bird table platform excluding it's tail.

If you are worried then have a chat with the council and enviromental health a guy I know told me they sorted out a problem for him and it only cost about £40 which is less than you will probably pay in traps and bait boxes!

I have an entry idea thise week but it could be tricky

I thought they might when the challenge was set, we are after all an animal loving nation except where wild Rats are concerned!

Personally I was never a dog person until I got one and now I adore them.

My original idea was Treacle (real rabbit) and a stuffed rabbit he is friends with, but Treacle has been a poorly bunny this weekend...

Tempted to enter one of these. I have been away for most of the weekend, and went to Cardiff to watch the rugby.
These are the only thing I've got that fit the theme. These were snapped just before bedtime.

Aw Alex, sorry to hear about Treacle. Can I see a photo of her? I have a lion head cross called Bonny - I wanted to feature her this weekend but she was too naughty...I tried to have her 'kissing' the choccier abbit but she refused to come near.. As soon as I stopped trying, she went to them and started eating the straw. Sooo naughty!

I have three boys, but the youngest is only 8 weeks. He was asleep when I took the photo.
