As the originator of this thread Peter - I am glad you have a sense of humour - and saw the "tongue in cheek" aspect in my original comment.

But when attacked - whether in a virtual sense or for real - I am never a "fearless commentator" - I can indeed be a formidable opponent - hence my rather vitriolic reply - to what was after all an unprovoked attack.

I do, however, heartily agree with your placatory comment and appreciate it. - and would fully endorse the sentiment it makes - "let's just do what we (well some of us) do best and take some photographs" .

So to keep thead going and answer the initial question posed - frankly and without any "tongue in cheek" !?!?!!??!

ANSWER - I waste precious time I could otherwise utilise by taking more photographs.

Anyway - back to the original question, I surf sites like this and flickr and keep in touch with friends via facebook.
