That's not rubbish Nick.
Great idea, I remember the old Rolo ads from several years ago. You're photo is a bit of a trip down memory lane.

Thanks Jediboy,

For my first idea, I wanted my two daughters to show a little sisterly love, but I might as well of tried to photograph a unicorn. So had to turn to plan B, the Rolos, I had a go at plan C this evening, but I couldn't make much frothy milk for the chocolate heart to float on, and it was rubbish, so I had a play with the best of my earlier shots.

Glad it took you down memory lane, I think they started the "Do you love someone enough..." campaign in the late 80's!!

Nick

Despite being tempted, I've decided not to enter any photos this week. I had two that were possibles but they were not really what I was ping for. Sorry, as was hoping to get an entry in and boost the numbers.

OK.
Against my better judgement I'll enter this to boost the numbers. I want the comps (and the site in general, to work).

A well deserved win Mark, well done. I had thought of something fairly similar, but as a normal silhouette rather than a clear b&w contrast (was gonna get hubby to go down on one knee at sunset) but no time and no Dave's willingness to do it. Can you talk me through the process?

Will do my ups/downs etc later.

Thank for the votes everyone , yes not to many entries this week but hey ho I know how difficult it can be to have the time.
My vote went to Nick_grey Rollo, the times I have eaten it quickly so I don't have to give it away LOL nice image great focus and composition.

Above Alex: Love is sweet : another great image well constructed nice lighting and good focus, thought it would have been a poss winner.

Below DD marry me: Really well put together, Love the heart shaped shadow behind although there seems to be some kind of banding on the background (or its my monitor)

Congratulations on a great win Cutter. A great photograph that I thought fitted the theme perfectly and I could easily see it as a poster on a wall. Strangely, neither of my children could see the couple, until I pointed out the facial features, they thought it was the outline of a country and couldn't see the connection with the theme.

Up: Will You.......A very romantic picture, so spot on theme, I thought the background shadow was very clever, but perhaps you could have done with a little more light above the rose and the red heart, as they both seem to be a little dark on top.

Down: Symbol of Love, a lovely warm, romantic image, candlelight and hearts - you smoothie, very autumnal in feel. My only suggestion would be to maybe crop off, or straighten the two bits of the glass framing on the left and right.

Thanks to all those that voted for my photo, your Rolo rewards are in the post

Nick

thanks tcaisley for my vote

UP: symbol of love. nice shot, right on the theme. pretty good for a 'number-booster' it might just be me, but it feels like the shot is tilted slightly to the right...

DOWN: the bigger picture. great shot, won my vote almost as soon as it was posted. i second DD - would love to know how you got it so crisp.

got some ideas chuggin away for the new theme, so hoping to get a decent shot for the weekend.
