I agree with you as its ridiculous that a photography magazine forum should make it as difficult as possible to upload photographs.

They should use this opportunity to sort it out but they wont too interested in facebook and twitter

I wonder how many people are put off submitting photos because of this sites difficulties in uploading images.

Some good points made here. I'd love the site to be more user friendly.
I'd also love to see the size limit for photos removed.

Hmm, I hadn't realised that - just tried with my images and I had exactly the same problem ... I can't even access my own images

It seems that there must be a bug with the gallery of some sort - this was my first attempt at submitting photos for potential inclusion in the magazine ... it doesn't exactly inspire me to do so again ...

I don't have a Facebook account, is there more participation, by staff and visitors, on the DCW Facebook page?

It would seem so as they are always promoting F/B in the mag and nothing about the forums.

About the only one that looks in here is Samcliffe

Thumbs down Mine have moved as well

Shame really, so what photos did you judge in the competition. Unfair if all were not used, my photos were the first I had submitted being a newbie and disappointed to find that one of my shots had a lot of views but no longer in the competition.

Animals pphoto's being moved

Hi there,
Just checked to see if my images were still in the 'Animals' competition and they aren't. I can see them in my own gallery but the category tag has been erased and I can no longer access the images for editing. I just get a message saying
"you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. "

Very strange. I know I didn't change anything, so how come I can't access my own images?
Best regards
Steve

Me for one. That's no great loss I hear you say.

But in fairness I said from day one the gallery is useless. Also not sure anyone knows how to operate it either.

I think 2Beers has the right idea tbh.

They'll never fix it if people keep using it. Harsh, but true.

I emailed her about this topic, that was why she was here.
