Chat: Monthly competition january - hdr

Are we supposed to put put our images into the gallery as well, or just post to here. I'm new here, just trying to get the hang of what happens where.

We usually post it in the chat thread and the entries thread. I post them in my own gallery and put the link to my image in the chat and entry thread. If u want to put it here 1st, for comments, so you can go and make changes if u wish, feel freeto do that.

I had a play with HDR in the snow the other day. I think that this is the sort of HDR effect I'm after, but still playing with the settings in Photomatix to try and work out what is best.

I've got some dirt on my sensor and have had a go at cleaning it up but its still visible.

Just use a clone tool or the like for now to get rid of it.

that's lovely harry - i'd be tempted to crop a bit off the right hand side to make it symmetrical...just my preference though!
