Keep an eye on the PwC website, I guess. Probably in a few weeks there will be an auction. I remember that the Jacobs auction had very little Canon or Nikon gear.

It's all going back to the producers as Jessops hadn't paid for it.

So I see you guys have lost HMV over there too now. HMV is still operating in Canada, but they have shut many locations over the past few years.

I think the High Street is in for a really bad year. 2 weeks in a three big names are gone or going. I guess tents are massive, overheads are high, and shops just can't compete with the Internet.

Yes I do remember that I bought an Olympus OM-20 from Dixons and a Motor Drive from Comet, I do remember they didn't seem to know a lot about the cameras though!

As a prolific user of Jessops on-line printing service I am at a loss as to know whether this side of the business is also in administration. Their printing, in my opinion, is second to none, especially the quality of the photo books. I fear we are in melt-down at the moment, with this being The tip of the ice berg. No quality camera shops at all in the high street. (At least in my location). On line shopping has been one of the reasons for Jessops declining sales but I suppose many of our are guilty in adding to their demise by looking and testing at a local store and then shopping around on-line for the best deal.

I think, from reading their site, that the photo printing services has also gone. Apparently all printed photos will be disposed of as confidential waste. And this makes me angry as I was waiting for two photo calendars I ordered. The whole thing is a disgrace. Stories are a plenty of people getting large value of vouchers and them not being honoured. People have placed and paid for orders and will get neither a refund or their order. I feel that if people have paid for this then they should get them. It's an appalling way to behave!!
