Thanks, I actually prefer the second as well which was taken a few minutes earlier than the first.

I find with photomatrix the best way to use it is find the preset you like best and then tweak the sliders, I bought my copy about 5 years ago and haven't been charged for an update yet so great value for money!

They're both good shots, but the second is my favourite too. Excellent detail in both.

Here's a link to my first HDR, however I thought there that was a way to use an IMG code that I can't find in flickr

I have corrected your original post to embed the image.

For future reference from flicker there is a share button, choose BB Code and copy the code it generates to the clipboard and paste it into your formum post.

Not overly convinced with this one, a 9 piece giving an exposure range of ±4, I'm thinking its a bit much & should likely scale HDR attempts back to a basic 2 or 3 exposures.

Thanks for that Dave, I knew about the share button but I thought I should use an IMG code and couldn't find one.

I have had some inspiration and Im going for my shot tonight or over next few days...all dependant upon the light! I'm doing something a little bit different to what I have seen on here so far but I won't give much away quite yet! I'm actually quite excited about it. Wish me luc.

And I hope you new guys here are going to enter both the monthly and weekly comps. We need new blood and the numbers increasing.

I feel back on track after my few months of problems and hopefully this theme will get me back on track properly.

Good luck Chris, I hope you get the shots you want, and hopefully bag a competition winner.

Glad you are feeling back on track.
