I've had a go with PSE9 in the past, though not very successfully..... Open your 3 images , +1 0 and -1, then select the 3 in the project bin. Then 'file', 'new' 'photomerge exposure' and follow the prompts.

Think HDR should look like Daves second picture, a bit unreal and surreal, but that's my opinion, I like it pushed to the limit.

Did these a while back

They look really good Jeff. I like the first one especially, the second is great but looks a little wonky.

Thanks. I'll give it a go. There is some free HDR software available so may give that a go.

Yes i know, needs the perspective altered but i put it up to show the HDR side of things not the "wonkyness".

Sorry Jeff, I wasn't sure if you had noticed. Thanks for posting the examples though, really useful.

I've had a play with photomerge on PSE9 and I'm not that impressed with the result as a HDR image. I'm going to download some free software and see how that goes, but I'm not holding my breath.

I've gone for a free version of photomatix. I'll let you know how I get on with that.

This is my first ever go at HDR, using a free version of Photomatix (hence the 'Photomatix' watermark).
I think its pants, but I'm not surprised as its my first ever go. I'm hoping that over the next couple of weeks I can improve in this area, and I must admit I'm quite excited about trying something new.
