The standard of entries so far is so high, I have decided to go with a still life as I had a little time to play today.

OK, a fun. awwwww image.......nothing tech about it, too much s*it happening at home unfortunately. But here, to show off my gorgeous Lionhead rabbit, called Bonny, and to keep up the numbers....

I am trying to get back into my photography, but it's not easy right now. Today is the longest I have had camera out or been on Mac for weeks.

Thanks to all those that voted for me I really appreciate it.
My vote went to wil59 :Not more chocolates: love the setting and composition although I think it would have looked better if it was a warmer picture in colour.

Above Wavemachine: Tree decorations: I think the focus was not interesting enough and the colours seem to be a little over saturated for my taste, a tighter crop and perhaps focusing on something with a bit more interest would have scored higher. Hey Dave OMO by the way

Below Semaj Xmas treat: I so wanted to vote for this one if only he had a mice (whoops sorry mince pie) pie sat at his side and perhaps a glass of something : Again a tighter crop and a better background would have improved its chances of more vote's IMO.

I am thinking of the next theme will post it later tonight.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL

And a big thanks again Dave for your help

Thanks Jediboy - I am still alive, so needless to say she has not found out.

My vote went to Cutter for the amazing picture of the Jack Daniels. I can not find fault with this. The clarity and composition of the photo is amazing. Well done. And thank you Cutter for my vote. It was a tough call between that and the Christmas morning shot of my family.

Up - Semaj, Xmas treat

A nice idea, and a cute pet. I find the focus on the pet is great, but as said a tighter crop would have worked better.

Down - Kerbside, Christmas at the arcade.

Another good shot, on theme! I don't think I can offer much in the way of critique really. Good shot.

Well done to all who entered. I liked all of the shots, but could only vote for one. Sabrina, I really liked your Christmas Elves shot, and if not for Cutter I may have picked yours. It is a great shot and captures the atmosphere well. I am going there in Five weeks, but sadly Christmas will be gone by then. Good entry, well done.
