Question Looking for a good compact digital camera for up to £200

I am looking for a good compact digital camera and I’m happy to pay up to £200 for it.

I’d be taking it to nightclubs so a nice flash would be useful.

I also like taking general amateur photos, so a decent macro mode and some manual controls would be handy also.

Any ideas?

Hi KingMustard

It's funny you should ask such a question as it just so happens we've put together a compacts guide to suit all budgets, from under £150, £150-£200 and premium compacts too.

Take a look and see what you think!

Thanks,

Yeh, I was considering the Fujifilm Finepix F200EXR. It's meant to be one of the best compact digital cameras available and it's £144.99 after the £30 Fujifilm cashback offer!

Or you could buy a second user Canon G9 from Ebay for that kind of money, and it should easily outperform any of the models at a similar price new.

This camera will allow you a complete set of controls to allow creative photography, plus it has a hotshoe for an external flash unit if you want one.

A much better choice if you want the best for your money.

Not really possible to get a G9 for under £200 on eBay UK.
