Para Gliding on Tenerife

My 1st post of an image in this category, not my strong point. It was fascinating watching these guys glide from the mountains then land so gracefully on the beach, coming down safely between the bathers on the beach.

I did a tandem paragliding jump in Turkey a few years back , take it from me if you ever get the chance take it and don't forget your camera because you can get some stunning shots from up there.

You've got some really nice detail in the first two shots and I particularly like the detail of the rigging in the second one but I have to say I'm not ever so keen on the composition of either of them , I can't quite put my finger on it but they just don't work for me .

The third shot I really like , everything from the B & W conversion to the way the pilot is looking down makes it feel as if your up there with him , well done .

Like I say, sport and action isn't my thing. It just couldn't resist the chance to shoot these.

I love the colours in the first two, and the third one works well with the 'action' of the anticipated landing.
I find myself wanting to see the full rig including the chute to give an overall view.
Good focus and detail.
