Yes, but it's a simple download. Just follow the link I posted, click "Startrails.zip" almost bottom of page. The download then needs to be extracted to a folder on your desktop from here just click on the Startrails Icon within the folder.

Luggage weight didn't allow me to take my tripod so no astro shots tenerife style. Thought I would try to get sun up shots with the slight curve of the horizon on the plane this morning, so opted to a window seat. sadly, sun was up earlier than I expected (we had a 7:30 am flight) but it was about 20 mins late taking off so too light by the time we were up high. Grrrrrr

I went out the other night (one of the few clear nights we've had this month!!!). I didn't get on that well, and stupidly I forgot to put on my noise reduction. Got one that was ok but was a bit noisy. It may have to do though as we are forecast heavy rain for the next few days so may not have another opportunity.

This is the photo I was referring too. There has been nothing but cloud and heavy rain here since I took the photo, so may not have another opportunity to get the shot I was hoping to get.

I bet you're happy with that one Jediboy. I agree, it's been a bad weather month.

jediboy, thats a lovely image. really nice. It has light and shade, contrasting colours, reflections, excellent composition. You must be so pleased. What was your shutter speed?

Agree with Chis "A really nice image" Unfortunately it does not fit the brief of astro-photography.

Definition of astro-photography.

"Astrophotography is the name given to the process of taking pictures of anything not on the Earth, but out in space" and no I'm not being pedantic.
I thought when this was announced that it would be an extremely difficult subject for this time of year.

You're not being prdantic. I thought the same Harry.
When the theme was announced I googled images for astro photography and thought, 'I'll never get a photo like that.'

Thanks for the comments about the photo though. Appreciate it.
