I can see what your thoughts were here, but for me the net is too distracting. Its a shame because I think it would be a great portrait otherwise. That said I'm no expert so this is just my opinion.

Sorry, I agree with jediboy. A different D of F could have blurred the net and had more focus on the eyes.
